Terms and Conditions of Job in Maldives

 

1. Introduction

Welcome to Job in Maldives, an online recruitment platform managed by Greenchance by Jacopo Doria, based in Italy. The use of this website is subject to the following terms and conditions, which comply with the laws of the European Union. Please note that these terms and conditions are constantly updated to reflect any changes in legislation or our business practices.

 

2. Definitions

– “Platform”: refers to the Job in Maldives website and related services.

– “User”: any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform.

– “Services”: all products and services offered through the Platform.

– “Content”: any information, data, text, software, graphics, video, audio, or other material present on the Platform.

 

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, the User agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Platform.

 

4. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

 

5. Registration and Account

To access certain Services, it may be necessary to create an account. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

 

6. Use of the Platform

   – Specify an application deadline.

7.2. It is prohibited to post discriminatory advertisements based on gender, race, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.

7.3. We reserve the right to remove or modify advertisements that violate these rules without notice or refund.

7.4. The User is responsible for ensuring that all posted images are not subject to third-party copyright. Unauthorized use of copyrighted images may result in immediate removal of content and possible legal action.

 

8. Payments and Service Commencement

8.1. All payments must be made in advance through the Platform’s online checkout system.

8.2. The provision of Services will only begin after receipt of full payment.

8.3. Job advertisements will remain active on the Platform for the subscription period specified in the purchased package.

8.4. Services not used within the period specified in the Order cannot be transferred to subsequent periods without prior written authorization.

8.5. The User is responsible for payment of any unused Services.

8.6. Any refunds are granted at the discretion of company management and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

 

9. Advertising

9.1. Advertisements (“Campaigns”) are subject to approval by our staff.

9.2. Requests for advertising Campaigns must be sent via email to marketing@jobinmaldives.com.

9.3. The complete creative content for a Campaign must be provided in the requested format at least 24 hours before the desired publication date.

9.4. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any Campaign at our discretion.

9.5. The User is responsible for the content of the Campaign and guarantees that it complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

9.6. The User agrees to indemnify us against any claims related to the content of the Campaign or the advertised products/services.

 

10. User Responsibilities

10.1. Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they post on the Platform.

10.2. Employer Users commit to treating candidates fairly and professionally and to comply with all applicable labor and non-discrimination laws.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11.2. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information on the Platform.

11.3. Our liability for any damages arising from the use of the Platform is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

 

12. Intellectual Property

12.1. All intellectual property rights relating to the Platform and its contents belong to us or our licensors.

12.2. The User may use the Platform’s contents only for personal and non-commercial use.

 

13. Privacy and Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

14. Termination

15.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the European Union and, to the extent not in conflict with them, by Italian law, as Greenchance by Jacopo Doria is an entity registered in Italy.

15.2. In case of disputes, the parties undertake to seek an amicable resolution through good faith negotiation.

15.3. For users residing in the European Union, any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

15.4. For users residing in the Maldives or other countries outside the European Union, any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be resolved through arbitration, in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The seat of arbitration will be Milan, Italy, and the language of arbitration will be English.

15.5. Notwithstanding the above, nothing in these Terms and Conditions prejudices the user’s right to avail themselves of the mandatory protection provided by the laws of their country of residence.

15.6. We recognize that some countries may have laws that apply outside their territories. We reserve the right to limit access to our Services and/or modify these Terms and Conditions based on the user’s geographic location, in order to ensure compliance with applicable local laws.

 

16. Equipment and Technical Requirements

16.1. It is the User’s responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate equipment and are connected to adequate services to access and use the Platform.

16.2. The platform has been optimized for correct viewing on both desktop and mobile devices. It is recommended to enable cookies and JavaScript in browser settings for an optimal experience.

16.3. Job in Maldives strives to support as many browsers as possible, but it may be necessary to cease support for some obsolete versions. Users are encouraged to use the latest versions of supported browsers.

18.1. Job in Maldives strives to keep the Platform available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, there may be periods of downtime or interruptions for scheduled maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.

18.2. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. The User accepts that access to the Platform may occasionally be suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new features.

18.3. Job in Maldives will not be liable for any losses or damages caused by interruptions or unavailability of the Platform.

 

19. Miscellaneous Provisions

19.1. If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

19.2. Failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

19.3. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and us regarding the use of the Platform.

19.4. The Platform reserves the right to modify the structure, design, and features of the site at any time without notice.
